One of the best parts of planning a wedding is finding that perfect venue. Thankfully, New South Wales has so many incredible venues on offer that you’re bound to find one that ticks all the boxes. Thanks to our time as wedding photographers in New South Wales, we’ve managed to come across some beautiful venues that we’re excited to share with you!

So let’s take a look at the top wedding venues with accommodation in NSW.

#1 – Jonah’s

Located on the beaches of Sydney, Jonah’s offers views of the lush coastal community and blue oceans. When you book this spectacular spot for your wedding, you’re getting exclusive use of the restaurant, cliff-top lawn, Terrace bar, and balcony for up to 122 guests. The ceremony takes place in the cliff-top gardens with beautiful views surrounding you.

When it comes to wedding venues with accommodation in NSW, Jonah’s doesn’t disappoint! While not every guest will be able to stick around, there are eleven Ocena Retreat rooms available for couples to enjoy. Each features 180° sea views, a private balcony, and a jacuzzi.

#2 – Watson’s Bay

Located in Sydney’s Watson Bay, the Watson’s Bay Hotel offers a variety of venues in and around the hotel to host a wedding ceremony. Host the ceremony at Robertson Park, Gibsons Beach, of Camp Cove, and head back to Watson Bay Hotel for a reception in the Sunset Room or Top Deck.  Accommodation is available thanks to the 32 rooms available at the hotel.

#3 – Wallalong House

Found in beautiful Hunter Valley, this incredible and historic wedding venue with accommodation in NSW has it all! Wallalong House is dripping in history with horse stables from the 1830s, cobblestone paths, nearly two centuries old fig trees, as well as stunning views of the countryside that go on for miles. Accommodation is available for up to 19 guests with numerous rooms in the renovated stables and Wallalong main house. So you can party all night and sleep it off in the comfort of your own room at this incredible venue.

#4 – Headlands Austinmer Beach

Get married on the beautiful beaches of Austinmer when you choose Headlands Austinmer Beach as the venue of your wedding. It doesn’t matter if your wedding is small and intimate or large and loud; Headlands is ready to host you in their incredible venue.

Headlands offers 59 self-contained luxury apartments that vary in size and features. From penthouses to studio rooms, there’s something for everyone to ensure you don’t have to worry about getting home after partying the night away.

#5 – Kimo Estates

Having a wedding at the Kimo Estates means getting married in style. These beautiful rustic venues within the estates offer something unique that can make your special day that much more special. Enjoy your wedding at the 1878 Homestead, a historic homestead and gardens. Then get on down to the Grain Shed, where the rustic barn setting is sure to provide you with an excellent time for the remainder of your celebrations! Up to 200 guests can join in on the celebrations. With so many rooms available, many will be able to secure a space to sleep after the festivities wrap up.

Kimo Estates offers a variety of accommodation options for guests to enjoy when it’s time to retire for the evening after a long night of celebrating the happy couple! Your guests can enjoy the Ecohuts, the Shearers Quarters, Windies and Daleys Cottages, or the Flash Jacks of Gundagai Hotel.

#6 – Paperbark Camp

Paperback Camp is a beautiful little venue that allows your wedding to be one with nature. Enjoy an outdoor setting with a wedding amongst the trees from start to finish. Up to 100 of your friends and family can enjoy the venue for your special day, and once the wedding and reception are over, you’ll be able to retire to your room along with 29 other guests who can also stay at the Paperbark Camp.

Nestled amongst vineyards and stunning gardens, you’ve got two options for where to tie to know either The Stables or The Book Barn.

Accommodation at Bendooley is worth every dollar spent! A mix of rustic and glamour is used to decorate these well-sized rooms, with some featuring as many as three bedrooms. Make your wedding a weekend people will never forget.

#9 – The Barn on Melross

Located on 270 acres of prime land in the Kangaroo Valley, The Barn on Melross Farm is one venue you won’t want to miss. This sprawling property means you’ve got options for where you can host the ceremony. The barn is perfect for hosting a large reception, with expansive outdoor options for letting loose.

Overall there are 20 available spaces for accommodation, thanks to the lovely country homes: The Rye House & The Millet House. There’s also a private cottage for the newlyweds to enjoy their first night as a married couple.

#10 – Novotel North Beach Wollongong

Breathtaking ocean views, larger-than-life function rooms, and some of the best service in all of NSW, Novotel Wollongong is one of the best in the business. This isn’t just any old wedding venue with accommodation in NSW; it’s a little piece of paradise. Weddings hosted here really look the part and give off an essence of style and elegance.

With over five rooms to choose from, you can host intimate gatherings of 40 or extravagant affairs featuring nearly 350 guests. Novotel is ready to accommodate a crowd. Accommodation at Novotel is available in abundance, so you’ll be able to have a fair amount of your guests enjoying the impressive rooms they offer.

#11 – Worrowing

Not too far from the white sandy beaches of Jervis Bay lies the Worrowing Estate. The estate is a sprawling 250-acre property that features wide-open spaces, beautiful greenery, and so much more. Have your ceremony in the beautiful Hereford Shed,  a stunning high-roofed timber and iron structure with concrete flooring and expansive timber decking.

If you’re looking to save the hassle of a late-night drive back, then never fear; Worrowing Estate is one of the best wedding venues with accommodation in NSW. There is accommodation for 41 people in one of their five styles of suites. You have the option of either enjoying the farmhouses, secluded cottages, boat shed studios, or wilderness huts.

#12 – The Cove

If you’re looking for beachside paradise, then look no further than the cove. This hidden jewel in the South Coast is one that seems almost too good to be true. To access this venue, you need to drive 13 kilometres through the rainforests of Booderee National Park before being welcomed to this warm and inviting venue.

We’ve had photoshoots at the Cove before and loved every minute of it! Up to 111 guests can enjoy the Cove with you and your partner on your special day. There are 13 cabins included to accommodate numerous guests as some cabins are relatively large, with up to three bedrooms.

#13 – The Woods Farm

The Woods Farm is a beautiful boutique farm in Tomerong, NSW. The farm is filled with rustic features. Get married in the gorgeous chapel before making your way to the wedding shed for the party to end all wedding parties. Both venues are stunning and offer so much aesthetic, warmth, space, and style.

When it comes to accommodation, you can either enjoy one of the numerous cottages littered around the farm or ‘rough it’ and enjoy some glamping. In total, there are eight cottages, each with three rooms, meaning many guests can enjoy the farm for the weekend of the wedding. The glamping option offers brilliant sturdy tents equipped with king-sized beds, communal bathrooms, and firepits.
